After a successful 27th Medical Camp held at Pulipainthakal on Sunday, 22nd October 2023, the next Medical camp was planned.
The 28th Medical Camp of our society was successfully carried out on the 19th November 2023 at Kalaimagal Hindu College Pallikudyuruppu, Thopoor, as planned. This event was a collaborative effort involving Dr. Kandeepan, Mr. Satheesh (the Principal), and teachers of Kalaimagal Hindu College, the RDHS Trinco, and the Women’s Society. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for their dedication and contributions in organizing this camp.
The people of Sampoor Chenaiyoor Pallikudyuruppu continue to bear the physical and emotional scars of the last ethnic war, natural disasters, and displacement. These individuals are yearning for education to uplift themselves from the depths of poverty. We understand that their health is of utmost importance in their journey to regain what has been lost in the recent past.
We are immensely grateful to all the medical professionals who selflessly and consistently contributed their time and expertise on this day.
Enlightenment Circle
We would also like to express our gratitude to Enlightenment Circle UK for generously sponsoring this camp. Enlightenment Circle is an initiative of the London-based “Hindu Munnetta Sangam”, a well-respected organization established by Sri Lankan Hindu expatriates. Its primary objective is to provide relief to those suffering from sickness, financial hardships, and promote overall well-being within the community. Their support made it possible the much-needed medical care we have provided.
Once again, we would like to emphasize our deep appreciation for all the medical professionals who volunteered their time and expertise at the 28th Medical Camp. It is through their selfless efforts that we were able to provide vital healthcare services to those in need.
We hope to continue organizing such camps in the future, with the aim of improving the overall health and well-being of our community.
