The sittandi Education Facility
Benefitting College: Bt/kk/Uthayanmoolai Vivekanantha Vithyalayam
Our society is currently carrying out this project to revitalise a non-functional area measuring 66’x22’ feet, with the aim of creating an ideal space for school activities. This large 22×7 metre hall will serve as a versatile venue for conducting classes and hosting various cultural and educational events. The renovation entails a comprehensive overhaul of the existing structure, including the installation of a new roof and floor. The estimated cost for the fundamental building works is approximately 420,000 LKR, reflecting our commitment to providing a conducive environment for learning and growth.
Scheduled for completion by the end of January 2024, the project marks a significant milestone in enhancing the educational facilities within our community. To further enhance the functionality of the space, we are considering the addition of benches and desks for students, ensuring that the hall is well-equipped for a variety of activities.
Crucially, we recognise the importance of community involvement in bringing this vision to life. Donor participation is key to the success of our project, and we welcome contributions from individuals and organisations alike.
