horticultural therapy at the ‘Uvagai’ rehabilitation center

Garden Area soil Filling and Regeneration

At the ‘Uvagai’ Rehabilitation Centre, horticultural therapy is helping individuals recovering from alcohol addiction reconnect with nature while developing patience, responsibility and a sense of achievement.

To create a suitable garden space for this therapeutic programme, we arranged for the garden area at the centre to be filled with fertile soil and prepared for regeneration. This provides a foundation for growing plants, vegetables and flowers, while creating a peaceful environment where residents can participate in meaningful, hands-on activities.

Gardening can offer more than just physical activity—it can nurture confidence, encourage teamwork and provide a positive focus during the recovery journey.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Our Society UK for generously sponsoring the soil-filling and garden regeneration initiative, helping us grow not only a garden, but also hope, purpose and new beginnings.
