On Saturday 31 October 2026, our good friend Sai will walk 25 km through London in the Halloween Walk to raise funds for OSUK. This is his third walk for us, and every step will help children and families in some of Sri Lanka’s most overlooked communities.
In remote villages across Amparai, Batticaloa and the Upcountry regions, many children study without enough teachers, books or classrooms. Bright students drop out because their families cannot pay for extra classes. University places go unused because students cannot cover food and rent. Mothers and babies in isolated villages often wait a long time for basic healthcare.

What your support funds today
- Six teaching centres running evening and weekend classes for O/L students
- Food and accommodation support for 52 university undergraduates
- Salaries for 15 full-time Mathematics teachers in remote Kalkudah schools
- Course fees for 11 external degree students
- A/L classes for Malayagam students at Shivananda Vidyalaya
We have also recently donated electric scooters to Public Health Midwives and run medical outreach camps. Our Maths seminars reached 2,229 students from 147 schools.

Your money goes further
Our yearly overheads are under £300, so almost every pound you give goes straight to the children and communities we serve. Trustees on the ground document every project, and donors receive regular photos and progress reports.

Please sponsor Sai’s walk
You can give a little or a lot. Either way, you can keep a child in class, help a student through university, or bring care to a remote village. Please donate, and share this page.
Thank you. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty through education.
